Mary's Taquitos - Port Lavaca

This is my favorite taco spot in the city! The al pastor tacos come with grilled twill, cilantro, and avocado slices, and they’re always fresh and flavorful. I also enjoyed a Mexican soda with my meal!

I was shocked when my brother told the cashier that she didn’t give me the avocados, along with everything else I ordered. I was also frustrated that there wasn’t a napkin for takeout or a bag to put the items in. I think there was a quick pack, but it only had a fork, butter knife, and salt and pepper. They should have included an extra salt and pepper set so that I would have everything I needed.

The restaurant only speaks Spanish, but the food is genuinely authentic and tastes amazing.

Sooo good! The sauces they served with street tacos were so delicious and mouth watering. I’m not one for hot dogs in beans but these beans had so much good flavor and a little kick. You can tell they cooked the beans down very well. I tried another taco truck in town before trying this one and the beans were very watery and flavorless. Next time I would order raw onion with my tacos rather than grilled but I wouldn’t change anything else. Great job.

Sooo good! the sauces they served with strassentacos were so delicious and mouth water. I'm not one for hot dogs in buzzing, but these guys had so much good taste and a little kick. they can say they cooked the bores very well. I tried another Taco truck in the city before I tried these and the buoys were very watery and tasteless. next time, I would order the raw bevel with my tacos instead of grilled, but I wouldn't change anything else. great work.
