The fish tasted fresh and was a good quality and size. However, the Diet Coke was a bit pricey at $3 for a can. I visited in June 2019 and the prices for items like Minimum Chips ($3.50), Flake ($7), and Potato Cake ($1.20) were listed in a photo.
Great fish chips!!! Absolutely loved it! Traditional style. Was perfect for a beach lunch. Five stars above the place on the wharf! Will definitely come back here!!!
Located on Griffiths Street near the beach, across the Moyne River from the center of Port Fairy, East Beach Fish and Chips is a hidden gem that can easily be overlooked. The menu offers classic Aussie style burgers and souvas in addition to fish and chips. During a family camping trip over Easter, we decided to give it a try. Despite the busyness of the restaurant when we arrived to pick up our order, we didn't have to wait too long before our number was called. Soon enough, we were back at our campsite, ready to enjoy our meal outdoors.
Great flake and delicious chips! Perfect meal to watch the ocean and relax with : As well as this, they had a wide variety of seafood to offer! Just your average, friendly and delicious fish and chips shop!
Was looking for somewhere along the beach to eat. Although simple, east beach serves up fresh fish and chips at great prices. The fish batter is crunchy and the chips serving is generous. The souvlaki was also pretty nice. The only downside to our visit was thst they charge 40¢ per tiny sauce sachet.
