Blakes Restaurant - PORT FAIRY

Interesting dining set up of an old house with tall ceilings. Great wine list for local wines. The food menu is small. But what the do have they do well. I had the seafood plate which tasted nice and fresh. Price is a bit more than your normal restaurant but nothing too crazy. Staff also cheerful and enjoy a joke.

Blake's is a wonderful restaurant in Port Fairy. The service is excellent and personal, very attentive. The atmosphere is a bit echo on a cold winter, next to a fire place perfect. Be warn, it is a busy place so do book unless you are lucky enough to have a cancellation.The food is excellent, one of the best seafood chowder I had. And the pink ling is cooked well. Worth a visit while you are in town.

A quaint and beautiful town. I wanted seafood and Blake's was first on my list. Only spending one night here so I wanted to make sure I get it right and I definitely want disappointed. Great atmosphere, attentive service and excellent seafood. Very fresh, well seasoned and cooked. It seriously rivals most good seafood restaurants in major cities. If you ever get here, put it on top of your list

Lovely service and ambience and the fish of the day was excellent. Oven baked potatoes were disappointing dry on top of the pile an anaemic underneath. Antipasto platter was pleasant with hummus, babaganoush, arancini, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes olives and a deep fried thing.

One of those hidden treasures! This was easily the best seafood I've ever had in my life, the price was over $100 for two but you for the food we received it was a bargain. It was a great setting and so quiet, if you love your food and seafood this is a must.
