Good place for dinner. The steak was aged and smoked. Location is convenient. Would eat here again.

We are currently staying in Port Douglas and had dinner at the Iron Bar. Wow! They kindly managed to fit us in without a booking. Glad they did! The service was friendly and quick and a great rustic atmosphere. We had the Pork Belly and Mackeral dishes and they were amazing! We hope to revisit for another meal before leaving Port Douglas for another fabulous meal.

Iron Bar has quite a nice set up & the staff are friendly and happy to appease.. We arrived early, around 5:30pm and sat outside to enjoy the warmer weather. Our waitress Jade was fabulous, explaining what was available and having a little chat with us about the area too. Our meals were so tasty and generous servings too. Value for money. The Thai fish curry was surprisingly sensational. Couldn't believe a pub could nail a Thai fish so well. The spicy calamari was also very flavoursome. It got quite busy later, and though wed almost finished our meals, our waitress yet Jade still acknowledged we were there,with a smile or a word, as she rushed past serving more customers. Very happy indeed & hoping to dine there again tonight
