Restaurant L'Ardoise - Pornic

French Comfort food served up by the friendly proprietor The dishes are home cooked and flavorful.

We had a meal in l'Ardoise on Saturday night and the food was fantastic. Beautiful fresh seafood and perfectly boiled lamb. But above all, we were treated so well by the staff. We are English and speak only a little French, but they were amazingly patient and took the time to communicate with us and feel completely comfortable despite the language barrier. Thank you to all staff for your time and effort. We will definitely return if we are ever back in the area (with our phrase book this time!!
