Vai à Fava - Ponte Da Barca

A really lovely surprise to find this charming, modern restaurant with a hidden terrace overlooking the river and bridge… and delightful tapas and salad lunch! Highly recommended. Sadly the artisanal ice cream was not available or this would have been 5 stars without question.

This restaurant was simply amazing. We had a marvelous dinner. They offer 4 different vegan dishes which I hardly ever see in this area of Portugal. All 3 of us were very happy with the dish we were served. We just reserved for 2 more evenings. A true treasure.

I came back here 3 times during our vacation to try different dishes. I can very highly recommend the strudel! It was heaven.

Amazing place! We love it, and go there many times a year! And each time we have friends with us here, we bring them to Vai à fava! The garden has a gorgeous view, the food is very good, and all people working there extremely kind! I highly recommend it! Only sorry it is not open all year… and now not even every day in the summer…

You have some vegan options. The vegetable strudel with tomato sauce and mixed salad was delightful. Nice view, really nice waiters. Also they are dog friendly
