Casa Do Destro - Ponte Da Barca

Great dinner and breakfast, quiet and confortable room, beautiful and interesting village, super kind owners.

My husband and I stayed in Lindoso for 5 nights and ate at the Casa do Destro cafe every night. The food was local, delicious, plentiful and affordable. The owner and staff could not have been more welcoming and accomadating. It was a lovely place to sit and eat. We finished each day chatting with the staff over our meal. Wine recommendation were always excellent. And although we did not stay on the property, we had coffee on the lovely patio one morning, the view was stunning and the coffee delicious. I would say our meals and interaction with the staff were one of the highpoints of our trip to Portugal!!!!

We were told that the plate was enough for two. Since we were three they offered to add a little more to be enough for three. We were, however, charged three plates!!!

I had a Bacalhau à Destro, which was excellent, great choice. The staff was very friendly. The price was suitable for the served food.

Small menu of seasonal products all beautifully prepared in an attractive dining room. Service was welcoming and warm and we returned on our second night in Lindoso to find the same good service and quality dishes.
