Mi Patio - Ponchatoula

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Ponchatula. They offer fantastic Taco Tuesday deals, with tacos priced at just 99 cents. They also have special menus and promotions for holidays, including Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day! In the photo are taquitos, because why not enjoy an appetizer for dinner? Who can resist a fried tortilla filled with chicken, served with queso, lettuce, guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream, all for just $8.50!

If you find yourself in Ponchatoula and craving some delicious Mexican cuisine, this is the spot to visit. I really enjoy sitting on the patio, listening to the soothing sounds of the fountain. However, my only concern is that if it's a slow night and there aren't many diners on the patio, your server might forget about you for a bit. That being said, the food is flavorful and satisfying. I had the enchiladas supreme, while my wife opted for the chicken pollo, and both dishes were excellent. Just a heads up: if you want beans and rice, they come separately and you'll need to pay extra for them, but you'll receive a generous portion. If you go for a late dinner, you can always wrap up your meal and head next door to the bar for some drinks and live music.

What a delightful discovery! While traveling, we were in search of lunch in what felt like a remote area. After finding that the restaurant next door was closed, we decided to give Mi Patio a try, and we were not let down. The staff was friendly, the service was prompt, and the food was fantastic. We had a wonderful time, and the kids even said it was so tasty that it made them want to dance!

This is my second visit, and both times have been truly impressive! The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious. The taco salad I ordered here is undoubtedly the best I've ever had. The staff is outstanding, and the prices are excellent as well.

Don't waste your time or money! After the change in ownership, we just had a terrible dinner there. The food was cold, our order was incorrect, and the waiter didn't understand English! The manager was ineffective and completely forgot about us. We won't be returning! I give them three months at most before they close down.
