La Veranda Italian - Pompano Beach

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our first anniversary, and it was absolutely fantastic—100 out of 10! I wholeheartedly recommend it; we loved everything about it! We will definitely be coming back. A big thank you to Celso and the rest of the staff for the excellent service! Food was delicious! Our waiter, Chris was very good, he accommodated our special food requests. La Veranda is our favorite Italian restaurant in the neighborhood!

As first-time diners, we were blown away! Where do we even begin? The ambiance was fantastic, giving off vibes reminiscent of a classic film. The service was outstanding; Celso and Joey treated us like family the moment we stepped in. And the food? Absolutely incredible! The pear and fontina purses with mascarpone were out of this world. I learned that on Sundays they serve a veal osso buco that’s so delicious, it’ll have me returning just for that! Oh, and I have to mention the house Caesar salad—it might be the best I’ve had in years, with a light, freshly made dressing that's perfect. This is Italian cuisine at its best!

We had a fantastic Saturday night with live music. The bruschetta appetizer was absolutely delightful, and the olive salad was exceptional. For dinner, we enjoyed the lasagna and wild mushroom risotto, both of which were outstanding. Everything was simply excellent!
