La Forketta Italian - Pompano Beach

The menu features a variety of classic Italian dishes that you'll find at any Italian eatery, and while everything is executed well, I have to say that I don’t agree with their claim of serving the best pizza in Pompano Beach. I've dined here several times—twice for lunch to sample the pizza and around five to six times for dinner—and I found their pizza to be just average and somewhat lacking in toppings. While their pizza may not live up to the hype, the other dishes on the menu are definitely worth trying, and they will leave you wanting to come back for more. It's worth noting that their "best pizza" is only available for lunch or takeout on weekends, as they focus on dinner service for other enticing options. Additionally, on weekend evenings, they offer live entertainment featuring a young crooner who wisely keeps the volume low to allow diners to enjoy their conversations. Prices are reasonable by today's standards, though the portion sizes are on the smaller side. Overall, La Forketta is a delightful spot for a cozy meal, especially if you steer clear of the pizza.

The food is outstanding, the service is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable.

Waiter took care 3 tables that came in after my husband and I . Finally took our order 40 minutes later. Waitress past us a doesnt time. Never asked if we needed anything. Waited two hours , food came and it wasn't what we ordered. We ordered 2 soupand Four cheese pasta. I was told it was a good place . But will never know now. Very upsetting experience. Waiters didn't seemto care.

When we asked for the check, our waitress noticed that most of the food was still untouched. She did ask if everything was okay, and I honestly let her know it wasn’t. However, she didn’t follow up with any further questions or offer to make things right. This experience has assured me that I won’t be returning to this restaurant. We ended up leaving and going to another place to eat.

Wonderful. I celebrated my birthday at Forketta and they made me feel very happy. The food is excellent, the service first class, the atmosphere super cozy and now enlivened by an extraordinary singer. Very supportive prices especially in these timesof high inflation. The lady who attends is super kind, I think she is the owner. Highly recommend the Forketta restaurant.
