It's disheartening to witness the unkind behavior and bullying directed at newcomers. It's no wonder that fewer people are choosing to visit this area. Places like The Pines and Jeff’s were once popular destinations, but now they feel like a joke. This attitude of superiority in such a small community is truly concerning. It’s sad to see how this could impact the future of the community. I hope they can reflect on their behavior and make changes for the better.

This is likely the best bar in Ogle. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in, and the owner personally came over to greet us and treated us to a drink. They truly benefit the community by raising funds for the local school system. We will definitely be returning!
