Contribuiți la feedbackI am writing to share a troubling experience I had with a visit to Subway located at 340 Coit Rd, Suite 300, Plano, TX 75075 on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. My son had asked to cancel our lunch plans, but I decided to stop by Subway to grab a 6-inch Mexicali sandwich for him. When I opened his sandwich, I noticed a strange smell, which I mentioned to my cousin who was with me. He suggested it might just be the wrapping paper, so I didn't give it much thought at the time. After letting my son eat, he had not complained of any issues beforehand; the night prior, he had a wholesome homemade meal of brown rice, broccoli, and chicken with the rest of the family. However, right after picking him up from school that day, he started to complain of a severe stomachache and nausea. I quickly stopped to get him Pepto-Bismol for relief and some Pedialyte just in case. By 7:00 PM, he began to vomit and reported having diarrhea. He ended up missing school on Thursday and Friday, as well as the following Monday to Wednesday. I took him to the doctor on Monday morning, concerned since this was the first time he had such symptoms. They conducted blood tests, which all came back normal. However, he has continued to suffer from cold sweats, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and intense headaches ever since. He has been mostly lethargic, taking naps throughout the day and eating very little, as even the food he manages to consume causes him stomach pain and further vomiting. We are doing our best to keep him hydrated with Pedialyte, Gatorade, and water, but even Tylenol hasn’t alleviated his severe headaches. Given that we ate similar meals, the only difference being the sandwich he had from Subway, I strongly believe this was a case of food poisoning. His doctor has requested a stool sample to test for other potential bacteria, but it has been a very distressing experience for both him and our family. I wanted to share our story in hopes of raising awareness about food safety.
I canceled my order. I requested a 2-foot sub but instead received a footlong and a 6-inch. It’s impossible to reach you by phone. I'm very disappointed and won’t be returning.
You're very rude. They throw the sandwich together, it's vegetables not fresh. You don't have a wide selection of chips. You calculate for additional veggies.
No more disappointing. I tried to call the store and it just rings The ticket on the bag says my correct order, but the food in the bag is completely wrong.
When I presented coupon after my order was done, the staff said no coupon and pointed to a piece of paper with hand-written notice. She said the computer is down and refuse to take coupon. She said nobody complain and they just left. But I do not want to waste food, so I paid the full price of two footlongs at full price, with un-used coupon.
