El Piropo - Plano

I loved this place! A hidden gem, intimate setting, and extremely friendly enviorment. The food has a great delicious twist. Incredibly clean and fresh food. Hand made tortillas were out of this world with my really fresh fajitas. The salsa was phenomenal and stood out from many places ive been to. If you want a friendly place with handmade clean delicious real mexican food.... I highly suggest you come to this is place! I know i will definitely be back.

Great service, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere! The chicharron tacos were so yummy, such authentic flavor, you can really tell a chef prepared the food fresh for you. Everything on the menu looked great, and had a nice selection of dishes and sides without being overwhelming with too many choices. Reasonably priced. The live music was wonderful! I would definitely consider going here on a regular basis!

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant! It is great Mexican cuisine from different places in Mexico. The presentation of the food is fantastic! The food is delicious, you can taste many different flavors and textures in the dishes. The atmosphere is great, fun, trendy, and neatly decorated with Mexican art. What makes the experience even better is Jose, he is one of the owners. He is hosting, taking people to where they want to sit, explaining his menu, showing you the art and the story behind it, welcomes you as of you were his long time friend! It was a great experience!!

Many delightful surprises at this authentic Mexican NOT TexMex restaurant. Quesadillas defenas defy the stereotype and they’re good! Fresh veggies when you sit, along with their “Mexican candy” sauce. Quite the tequila/mezcal selection, too. Super friendly people and delightful wait staff.

My friends and I went in after the wine walk and had THE BEST time! It felt like we were welcomed into a family celebration, the staff was incredible, the food and chef were absolutely wonderful.
