Covino's Pasta Pizza - Plano

I’ve been coming here once in a while when I’m missing the awesome Italian food I grew up with in the NYC suburbs. Trust me, we NYers know if it’s the real deal when we walk in and smell the garlic aroma and fresh marinara sauce wafting from the kitchen. The lasagna is outstanding, pasta dishes are very good and the Veal Parmesan I had last week was perfect. Don’t expect the big box restaurant vibe or the insincere phony greetings you get in chain restaurants. If Joe Covino says it’s nice to see you, he means it! Highly recommended!!!

My dining experience was a 10+, from the cozy ambience, the friendly and attentive staff, an amazing chicken dish and ending our experience with a very tasty dessert.

I have been coming to Covino's for over 20 years, and it is always great. We had a party of 10 for my dad's birthday, and everyone loved the food as always. The staff are very friendly and our server, Brett, did a really good job with our tables. He might be one of the best servers I've ever had. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and got everything we needed. Covino's rocks. It is BYOB, so I recommend bringing a couple of bottles of some good wine. Great experience.

Such a cool place- my husband had gone there w family 30 years ago and it is still there and pizza and chicken parm and ziti were delicious! Brett was our server and did a great job and everyone was super friendly!

Met some friends for a pre-show dinner. Tasty! Good options. Casual. Great service.
