Anamia's Tex Mex - Plano

The ambiance was lovely. Upon arrival, we had to wait for the hostess to come back to the front desk. I suggest trying the Juanita and beef fajitas from the grill. The Tex Mex section of the menu seemed a bit overwhelming with repetitive ingredient combinations. Overall, my experience was decent.

My wife, daughter, and I went out to dinner and had a very disappointing experience with a Vietnamese waitress who was extremely racist. She refused to acknowledge me and would only communicate with my wife, who is white. This behavior was unacceptable and made our dining experience very uncomfortable. The food was decent, but the service was terrible. I have reported the incident to Mr. Rogalla and we will not be returning to this restaurant. As a result, we left a register card without a tip. It is important to treat all customers with respect and friendliness.

The Anamia's location in Plano, TX has great potential, but is hindered by some of the most arrogant and incompetent managers I have ever encountered. The restaurant has a high turnover rate among employees, with many leaving for better opportunities that offer higher pay and more family time. The manager refuses to hire more barkeepers, resulting in only one bartender for the entire restaurant most of the time, with maybe two on Fridays and Saturdays. This causes delays in serving customers as bartenders have to multi-task by changing the servedabellen while making drinks for servers. Some employees lack care for quality control and food presentation, and many drinking cups and wine glasses are stained and water-marked. Despite these issues, the restaurant still charges premium prices.

Wonderful experience in this restaurant. calmed and has chips and salsa. my taco salad was with ingredients, not only the usual bark, tomato, cheese and salat. the dish was fresh and delicious. the fajitas were also cooked for perfection. our only complaining was that the condiments had to be on a separate teller, but this is not a big thing.

Google maps shows the restaurant closes at 9:30, pulled up and half the lights outside were turned off. Called in and was told I could still dine in (I'm 1 person, and already know what I want, so not coming to hang out for an hour).Walk in, and the person at the front tells me they close at 9 so I can't dine in.....some miscommunication going on here
