Star Asia Buffet - Pittston

Great spot for a Chinese buffet. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best Chinese buffets I’ve ever visited. I had never tried dim sum before, and the selection was fantastic. The service was excellent too. The dumplings were so delicious that they brought tears to my eyes; you could definitely tell they were homemade, with a perfect texture. Oh, I absolutely loved it! Plus, it's conveniently located right across from the Pilot truck stop. The walk there wasn't too bad, but getting back after all those full plates was a bit of a challenge!

Every visit to this restaurant has been a wonderful experience. I've been coming here since they first opened, and the quality of their food has consistently been outstanding from my first visit to the most recent one. Since I work nearby, I frequently grab takeout, which is very affordable for me, and everything is always so fresh. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always greets customers with a smile. This is, without a doubt, the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life.

Tonight's dish is a combination from the buffet. I arrived here around 6 pm, everything was fresh tasting and very hot. I have never had a bad dish from this place. I had some beef and broccoli, rice, peppers and onions. Average and affordable in price. For two people it was only 33.00

I love buffet restaurants. First time here. Sign that the pandemic is subsiding. Good crowd here tonight. Service was fine. Clean. Family friendly. Better than all of the local Chinese take out I have tried. Too many items to try tonight. I will be back! I tried small portions of several items. Winners: fried pork dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, the generals chicken, lo main choc pudding and most of the mini deserts, fresh pineapple Ok: pepper steak, vegetable rice.
