Eggs-r-us - Pittsburgh

Eggs-R-Us is quickly becoming my breakfast spot, which is a big deal to me. My all-time favorite place burned down many years ago, and I have searched in vain for a place that's even close. I think Eggs-R-Us is it. The food is excellent and comes quickly, priced moderately, and the waitresses are friendly. I've only tried a few of the menu items because I've zeroed in on my favorite, but may eventually venture down the menu :

Went there for the first time with the wife, telling you what. Good comfort food, really nice waitress. Good service, good food. We will be coming back again. I'm getting that country fried steak platter!!!!

5 stars are not enough... This was the best breakfast of my entire life. We are here two days in a row while on a business trip. Great food and lots of it, very friendly staff.

Stopped here today after finding on Google. Small little place. Walked in 3 other tables had people and then me. Service was less than par. Had to wait to get table wiped, cook had to bring me my food after it just sitting there.... the lady grabbed 2 other plates and headed to the back and left my done food just sitting. . Made zero sense to me why she didn't just bring my food instead letting sit there. So I asked cook he brought it. Then I had to get up go get my own refill and napkins. For the amount of people in there, there was no excuse. I went to pay, no check brought again I had to even ask what my total was! She asked how was everything and I was honest. Immediately went to the defense how she the owner blah blah blah... a little late for sob story. Didn't change the way my visit went. Food was AMAZING. I had chicken and waffles.

Today was the first time my husband and I visited here and we will definitely be back. Lisa provided us with amazing customer service. We didn't wait long for our food at all and it looked amazing. The eggs were scrambled the way I like perfectly. (not to wet, not to dry) The breading on the steak was perfectly fried and the steak was juicy. My husband loved his over easy eggs and his home fries. It's very difficult to impress my husband when it comes to food especially breakfast and today you did. He's a very happy chef who is still talking about it. We will be coming back. Thank you
