The food was mediocre, the service could have been better, and the atmosphere was quite gloomy.

First time here. Tried 3 different meats/tacos...asada, carnitas and lengua. The lengua was by far the best lengua taco I have ever had!! There were notes of pineapple, it was so tender and flavorful mmm! Asada was well seasoned and tasted very good as well. I'll pass on the carnitas next time, it was dry and no flavor. And they have a good red sauce that's not too hot and adds a nice little kick and flavor. A little over $2 for most tacos, and it was .$3.50, I believe, for lengua (worth it). Seven tacos $20

The potato tacos are amazing. You definitely have to try them!

The food is great The salsa is unique. One burrito and three tacos was $25 insane.

I went in today and ordered a carne asada burrito and a taco. I handed over a $20 bill that I had received as a bonus at work, but to my surprise, the staff claimed it was fake. The two women examined the bill and insisted it was counterfeit. Frustrated, I offered my credit card instead, and after running it, I received a receipt showing a total of $13.86 for my order. I questioned this amount since the pre-tax price came to $11.25. She insisted the price was correct, and we went back and forth about it. Eventually, she explained that there was an additional surcharge for using a credit card, and she took out a calculator. The total should have been $13.01, but instead, she rummaged through the register, pulled out 85 cents, and slammed it onto the counter. When I returned to work, I tested the $20 bill with a pen and a counting machine, only to find that it was indeed real. While I love their food, I will no longer be returning. The attitude I received was completely unacceptable.
