Popi's Italian Restaurant

First time at Popi's so we were really excited. Had reservations and was seated right in front of the bar which later realized the dining room was half full. Apps we had were sandy clams casino and calamari which was good. Entrees Pork chop which was dried out and fatty. The crabcakes which they offered for $48 were very small and not much flavor and not lump crabmeat. The homemade gnocchi were very good and was by far the best of the dinners. Service was fair and we had to ask the busboy to clear the table. I would definitely have to say my experience was subpar and the experience fell to my expectations. Even after the waitress asked about our clams casino, I then said that the clams were salty, she never even apologized or offered to get a fresh order. Disappointed customer.

Just discovered this place after all these years. It was recommended by people from the Phillies organization. Had a great lunch, great service and free parking! Appetizers were delicious, mussels, fried calamari, and shrimp. Main course was grilled chicken and shrimp. Will try the blackened version next time will also plan for dinner. I recommend this place.

Can't say enough good things about Popi's The food is excellent, the wait staff very attentive and we've always had good times there

It is a great place. Located in nice area of Philly. Food is great. Nice dining atmosphere.
