Stogie Joe's Tavern - Philadelphia

The food here is absolutely AMAZING!! The BBQ sausage Bites and homemade Pierogies are to die for! We had a sampling of a bunch of things, and everything we had, I highly recommend. The white pizza, potato wedges, house salad, Caesar salad, the salmon, chicken parm, 2 kinds of stromboli.. Everything! Definitely give this place a try if you've never been here. The staff (more do the owner) is obsessed with keeping all your plates cleared with new plates and utensils with every new dish that's brought out. Not very personable, but not mean or anything like that. Even if they were, the food is that good, that you wouldn't even care!!

Been wanting get ribs though ive had their pizza a few times (was good) i really did NOT like the ribs esp the bbq sauce i tasted lot vinegar maybe mustard? Whatever it wasnt tasty meat was dry the spinach Stromboli was bland that side coleslaw was atrocious! think this place get high ratings more for fun atmosphere drinking honestly than its food fact i did order a pasta dish about year ago wasn’t all that either… so who knows .. wont buy again im im a life long so philly resident much better out there!!!!!!!!!

I had the Rigatoni with sausage and shrimp with crab gravy and it was absolutely delicious. Great feel and they are not racist like a lot of places in south Philly they welcome you !
