Falafel Time - Philadelphia

The Chicken Shawarma Sandwich was messy but delicious, with the pita being the best choice to hold all the tasty fillings in place. The platter was decent, but the falafel was dry and the dolmas were not very impressive. The French Fries were authentically French, crispy and tasty.

The mixed grill was delicious and such a large portion for a great price! I especially love the fact that they sell sides of garlic sauce. I will be ordering again soon just for the chicken shawarma and chicken kebabs.

I have been to this restaurant several times now and I usually order the mixed grill. When I am with someone else, we also split the appetizer sampler. The food is always delicious and the staff at the front are very friendly. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very fair. I will definitely be coming back at least once a week, if not more.

Got the Mixed Grill platter. Salad was good but there wasnt a grain of salt on it which was needed to bring out the flavor. Everything else was really flavorful. Some of the meat was a little dry and the lamb wasnt the most tender but not terribly tough either and still tasty. Rice was flavorful and the bread had a pocket so you could make like a sandwich out of it. Extra sauce is an added charge and didnt come with a ton. Pretty sure it was just garlic blended with mayo. Good portions. Doesnt come with hot sauce

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but I was disappointed to see that they serve tortillas instead of real pita bread. It was a letdown.
