Contribuiți la feedbackHaha! That's just what people do at a bar—have a good time! As a bartender, I would have thought you’d understand that. Take a step back, get off your high horse, and remember that the world doesn't revolve around you. Let other people enjoy themselves too! What a shame!
As a bartender myself, I found this not only surprising but also illegal. Infuriated, I had the bartender pack up my food, and we decided to leave. It’s shocking that the bartender didn’t call a cab for these three individuals who were clearly unable to stand or speak coherently. How can such behavior be tolerated? The manager and bartender should be aware that, under Michigan law, they and their establishment could be held responsible if something were to happen to these intoxicated patrons or any innocent bystanders. They risk losing their jobs, facing jail time, and incurring substantial fines for over-serving these individuals and failing to ensure they had safe transportation. It seems that in this small town, ignorance or willful neglect is necessary to maintain employment. It’s disheartening to see such a blatant disregard for safety and responsibility. Unfortunately, this was not our first encounter with this kind of behavior.
The manager noticed the situation multiple times but failed to take appropriate action. Shockingly, the bartender, who seemed untrained, continued to serve one of the drunken patrons another Budweiser. As a bartender myself, I found this not only irresponsible but also incredibly disappointing. I was so upset by the lack of intervention that I ended up asking for my food to be boxed up, and we decided to leave. I couldn't believe that no one had the sense to call a taxi for these individuals, who were clearly unable to stand or behave appropriately. I have to question why such behavior is tolerated. Are the manager and bartender aware that, according to Michigan law, both they and the establishment could be held liable for any incidents involving these intoxicated patrons? They risk not only their jobs but also potential legal consequences and hefty fines for their negligence. It seems they might be turning a blind eye to the issue, perhaps believing that connections matter more than responsible service. This wasn’t our first experience with such irresponsible behavior, and it's disheartening to see it continuing.
Haha! Isn't that what people do at a bar? They drink! As a bartender, I assumed you knew that. Encourage them to loosen up, get off their high horse, and understand that the world doesn’t revolve around them. Let everyone have some fun together!
