I should have taken it as a sign when I noticed there were no cars in the parking lot. The host was excellent—very friendly and smiling, a really nice young man. However, the place was empty except for four tables. The waitress took an eternity to take our order, and when she finally did, she was quite rude. The liver was paper-thin, but the fish was decent. Unfortunately, the seafood chowder was disappointing—it was among the worst I've had. It's truly unfortunate to see one of the best family restaurants in Petoskey decline so rapidly. We won’t be returning, which is a real shame.

The sign claims it’s where the locals eat, and I really feel sorry for them! The instant mashed potatoes and the overcooked frozen burger for my child were quite disappointing. The only decent item was the wing dings, but that’s because they’re pre-made. Even the wings were overcooked, leaving very little meat on them. I definitely won’t be returning. I always try to support local businesses, but in this instance, I’d prefer to go to Applebee's down the road. Additionally, the prices are outrageous given the quality of food served.

We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast that was freshly made, not greasy, and absolutely delicious! The server really enhanced our experience too! This is definitely a must-visit place if you're in Petoskey.

The food here is excellent! It's one of the rare spots where you can enjoy a fantastic breakfast, receive great service, and still pay a reasonable price. You really can't go wrong here! This place has always been a favorite of mine for breakfast, and I have fond memories of coming here since I was a child!
