Izakaya Kitaru - Petaluma

It had collapsed for lunch, the son had Elan, the wife Tonkatsu Ramen, and I had 3 different dishes. Ordnete the octopus with Wasabi, I expected something else, but remembered the food live octopus in Korea. Ramen very different flavors, I had Salmon skin salad and scallops, delicious. Menu has a variety of elements, cant wait to go back and try something else.

So happy to have and Izakaya in Petaluma! You have a large menu with lots of variety! Your caramel is great and we loved the fish cake with cheese and these little shrimp we had. Service is very friendly.

The food was good. Sushi rice was just the right texture and acidity, seaweed was a bit too hard, but nothing too bad. The fried oysters had mushrooms for an appetizer. They came hot and with a delicious truffle salt. Tasteful. Had the vegetarian ramen for my duck and it was also very good. In any case, would go back for dinner. Our server was a little stiff, but it seemed new and didn't make any mistakes, nothing bad.

Good food and decent selection of Japanese food. Came late for lunch and they serve fast, but service is still good.

So delicious. Best sashimi in town. My tuna tasted like the ocean, it was so fresh. And the pork belly is no joke. We almost ordered a second one. Great service. Fun relaxed atmosphere.
