Anna's Seafood - Petaluma

Best choice of fresh seafood and the boss is a hoot. If you like scallops ask him for his recipe, it's fabulous

I've enjoyed their seafood for years at Larkspur Landing farmer's market. However, the lead employee becoming very rude and arrogant. He seems mad at everyone, including his peers and also customers. Incompetent and unfit.

This is our favorite seafood market bar none! They always have the freshest and largest variety of fish. We love it!

I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately employees are unhelpful and clearly unable to answer simple questions. Unit of measures are mislabeled, per lb. vs each. Wound up paying full price for a frozen octopus that looked like it was scraped out of a glacier from the ice age. And, it was almost a year past it prime per label.

The fresh fish here is absolutely delicious, and the crabs are served still alive! For lunch, you can't go wrong with their fantastic seaweed salad and trio of sashimi, which comes with two types of sauce. I especially love their homemade soy sauce!
