Sax's Joint - Petaluma

I unfortunately can not return here. My wife is disabled and has a service animal. I went and put my name on the list for all of us and was taken to a table my wife was in the parking lot with her service dog and when she approached and could clearly see the table she let the host know it wouldn’t work and asked to be seated further in the back where there were several open tables. The host laughed at her and said she would need to put her name back on the list and wait. She said so because I’m disabled and am asking for another table I now have to go back on the list? The hostess got rude with her and words were exchanged the host was laughing at her for being disabled. The owner came out and immediately tried to calm the situation but the damage was done. As law enforcement in the area and my wife as a local business owner we can no longer support this restaurant. We left immediately and will not return and that’s a shame.

What a neat and unique spot for brunch! We had a party of 7 adults, 2 children, and a French Bulldog on a super busy Sunday! They were so accommodating as all of us arrived at different times from Modesto, Sacramento, and Santa Rosa. My nephew already had his pancake plate when we arrived! 10 stars for keeping the kiddo smiling after his 3 hr ride stuck in traffic! Mimosas and ****** Mary's were delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly, and orders were taken accurately. Food portions are huge, and the food is delicious. The French Bulldog enjoyed his special piece of bacon?! I only wish now they had one in Sacramento. We will be back! This staff knows how to hustle and keep guests happy!

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said about how incredible Sax's is. The decor and atmosphere, the staff, and THE CINNAMON ROLLS. My god, the cinnamon rolls. And the chicken and waffles, they're amazing. I haven't done one of their pop-up dinners yet but it's on my list to try!

All I can say is this place is ? Old School vibes and the ladies are amazing. Thank you!

Having a really great breakfast. Great service, great atmosphere and very tasty food. Thank you very much, we had a great stay with you. My friends were happy that you also offer gluten-free bread, and you are highly recommended, especially to tourists like me.
