Pitrok - PESARO

We have been to Pitrok a number of times. A Dutch friend introduced us to Fabio and his team. We have received wonderful hospitality and his food is delicious and real Italian. A lot of local cheeses and meats as well as super fresh produce is used. More for the local population than for tourists, so a real experience. The first time we were there one of the locals started singing opera songs... We will always point our New Zealand friends in this direction!

We came here with friends on St Valentine's Day, expecting to be the odd ones out amongst all the couples, but found that the place was full of local family groups enjoying the special Valentine's meal. After an aperitivo of pink or white prosecco and an excellent antipasto selection there were separate menus for him and her. The ladies had ravioli which included some pink heart shaped ones while the men had passatelli. This was followed by pork tagliata for the ladies and grigliata mista for the men. We finished with tiramisu and coffee dessert. Wine kept coming as required and coffee was also included and all for €20! The place was full and buzzing with a vocalist in the background. At the end of the meal we were given tickets for a draw for 3 prizes, but fortunately these were won by the locals. This was a different sort of Valentine's evening. The food and wine were very good and the service nicely timed. The atmosphere rounded it all off. We will certainly come back here it will be interesting to see whether the large room seems a bit empty and open on a quieter evening, but the word is that the food is reliably good.

Ristorante con cucina casalinga e diversi menu tra cui scegliere. Piatti generosi, ottima qualità e ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Locale spazioso, da provare sicuramente!

Piatti tradizionali a prezzi molto convenienti, il personale e il manager sono troppo gentili, andare se è possibile
