Fontanella Di Porta Sole - PERUGIA

Like the cooking from nonno e nonna! Sit down and let the server tell you what to eat he knows better what you like than you do! We’ve enjoyed the pasta already, but after inviting to see the kitchen and the meat and fish they prepared, we followed the recommendation and had grilled meat and slow cooked fish for our table (seven persons). We’ve enjoyed EVERYTHING, from the meat to the vegetables and the desert sensationale!

Very disappointing visit. The proprietor was also the waiter, so service was slow and casual. We had to ask for the bread, no condiments of any kind were provided, and my main course of lamb cutlets were burnt and mostly inedible. We ordered a mixed salad which was extremely over salted it should not have been salted in the first place, of course. In addition a table of six people smoked constantly, as did an elderly couple at the only other occupied table. All in all, quite a disastrous meal, and one which we would not want to repeat.

We two bowls of excellent Fava bean soup and a very tasty salad. Definitely will eat there again. The owner was a great host. Of the beaten path a bit but a great place for lunch. Enjoy a glass of wine with lunch also.

Best restaurant tried perugia, super staff, delicious dishes and adequate prices. Lamb knife!

For the pleasure of the dishes and the kindness of the owners nothing to say! typical Umbrian cuisine. for the rest, in short and rather prolonged times, there are no appetizers, contours and sweets. costs therefore a little excessive compared to the quality of the lunch.
