Oil Lamp - Perry

Food is delicious! Great and friendly people. It's just that the price of the food is outrageous! I know everything is going up! But, I think paying $17 dollars and some change for 1 baked chicken breast, small bowl salad, small scoop of squash, and cornbread muffin is too high! Only had water to drink too.

All the locals know This IS the place to go! I was told to try it, and I'll return Everytime I'm nearby.

Everything at the Oil Lamp is delicious! It is like going to your grandmother's house for Sunday dinner. The people are so friendly and helpful. I love the vegetable selection. Their deserts are amazing! It is one of my favorite restaurants. Vegetarian options: There are several vegetables to choice from and a salad bar.

Super disappointed! For two people to eat- two small scoops of veggies and a meat (pot roast and catfish) it was over $30 (no drinks-just four scoops of vegetables and two meats) I’ve ate here before and it was… not great, but this time was atrocious. The vegetables were 100% from a can, the Mac and cheese was inedible. Dry, but also mushy somehow, the pot roast or roast beef was literally sour. The catfish was ok- my daughter and I split it because everything was just…. Really really bad. don’t know if I caught them at the end of the day or if they don’t use fresh stuff on certain days; I can’t fathom all of the rave reviews compared to the experience we have had… twice.
