Downs Barn Farm - Penzance

I had a fantastic week at the farm—everything was perfect! The breakfasts were delicious, featuring fresh eggs collected daily right from the farm. The family was so warm and welcoming, making the experience truly special. My room was stylish, with a very comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. The area is stunning, with lovely views of the sea and beautiful, translucent light. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, Carolyn and Richard!

Without a doubt, this is the best bed and breakfast we have ever experienced. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Richard, who treated us to a delightful cream tea. The property exceeded our expectations, and every morning, Carolyn prepared a fantastic breakfast. She was an exceptional hostess, providing us with helpful tips on local attractions and happily making reservations for us at nearby restaurants. We stayed for five nights and truly enjoyed every moment. On our departure day, which happened to be a Friday (the day when self-catering units change over), Carolyn kindly gave us a tour of Skylarks. It is a wonderful place, beautifully equipped and spacious, making it perfect for a short getaway for two. We definitely plan to stay there sometime in the future.

Excellent holiday house at the farm. It is really 5 stars with high quality furniture under floor heating. Many walks on site do not need your car to get to them.
