Cornish Cafe, Penzance

They really know how to make a great coffee here! The polenta ginger and chocolate cake (gluten-free) is simply to die for—it's the best I've ever had. It's not the most budget-friendly spot, but oh my, they offer some truly beautiful options!

They recommended three overly strong cheeses for me to take home for New Year's. I was completely taken by the Cornish Mead and enjoyed tasting it. It was fantastic!

From here, we picked up sandwiches for our trip to Geevor Mine Tin (we took the open-top bus from Penzance over Land's End). It was unbelievable—everything felt like it came from a local kitchen. The deli counter had a beautiful, rustic selection. The sandwiches were incredibly fresh and excellent.

Very little independent in the possession and lead deli. very friendly and welcoming staff, good coffee and excellent sandwiches and eating in general. highly recommended

Delicious ginger, chocolate, orange, almond and polenta cake (sounds too much but was fab) and a good sized pot of tea. A lovely relaxed atmosphere surrounded by good food. What's not to like?
