Rasa Indo - Penticton

What a delightful surprise to discover authentic Indonesian cuisine in Penticton! I grew up enjoying Indonesian food at all our family celebrations, and this place truly delivers! We started with the gado gado, and everything was perfectly seasoned. My mother, who is 90 years old and our family’s Indonesian cook, thoroughly enjoyed her generous serving, despite usually eating very little. We have relatives visiting soon, and there's no doubt we'll be returning!

If you enjoy Malaysian or Thai cuisine, you should definitely try Indonesian food at this authentic restaurant! I highly recommend the Gado-Gado salad; the sweet, savory, and nutty sauce combined with fresh greens, tomatoes, and a special Indonesian cracker will transport you back to a sunset beach in Bali.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant. The picture made the food look appealing, but what I received was disappointing. The imitation noodles were served in a sauce with some carrots, and the so-called "fresh" vegetables were clearly just frozen green beans. The $3 deep-fried roll was tiny, about the size of two small fingers, and came with only a tiny bit of sauce in a round plastic container. Overall, it was a letdown.

I love to support small businesses who really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I will not be back again. the truck looks great and the colors really grab their attention. the pictures on the menu did not look professional or appetizing and they were not. I kept the bark on rice and the bark was so overcooked and dry. the veg on the side are the mixed frozen veggies they buy in a bag. the coco nanas drink I expected to be a little more sluggish, but it was very liquid and full of cellular. They expect to chew their drink for a dae. The chili sauce is beautiful.

Ordered two ice coffees waited 40 minutes went up to them and they asked for a name which they did not ask for when I ordered and 4 other groups of people also did not receive their food
