Piece Of Cake - Pendle

The dining experience was subpar and I did not enjoy my meal. The service was poor and unenthusiastic. The restaurant appeared as though it could benefit from a thorough cleaning, with messy shelves and an unpleasant atmosphere. The photos on their website were deceiving as the reality did not live up to expectations.

We visited The Orange Door at the end of August, excited to try it out based on recommendations from friends. The drinks were fantastic, made with care and effort. However, we were disappointed with the rest of our experience. After placing our order, we had to wait for our food for a few minutes, even though we were the only ones ordering food at the time. I ordered a wrap and my partner ordered nachos. When the food finally arrived, we were let down. The nachos were burnt and unpleasant, covered in a mass of BBQ sauce that wasn't even listed on the menu. My wrap was cold but edible. Throughout our meal, our server did not check in to see if everything was okay. And when we went to pay, they still didn't ask about our experience. It was a shame to have such high hopes dashed by subpar food and service.

We made a reservation and were greeted at the door. We had a delicious starter and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with a good selection of reds, including different malbecs. We were also given a complimentary cocktail to try, as the hostess wanted us to sample them and take photos for social media. I even had a cocktail for dessert. I am excited to return to this restaurant.

Love this place, really welcoming, eating is amazing and the cocktails are also quite good. will be coming back
