Friendly staff and lovely food, the prices were very reasonable as well. The opening hours were quite short some evenings, just something to keep in mind if you want to get fish chips from here!

Just been to the shop at 5.50 and it was closed! Sign on the door says 6pm. Staff were mopping up inside. I'm now sat here with 5 hungry people. Thanks for nothing!

Called after reading reviews and not disappointed. I had fish , chips and peas and everything was excellent. The fish was a delight,well cooked, lovely white fish and a crisp batter. Chips chunky,dry and no sign of fat on anything. Peas good and a large portion. I ate inside as they have a few tables,. The shop is spotlessly clean and staff friendly. Just would have preferred to have had meal on a plate rather than disposable carton, but doesn't detract from the food.

My grandchild (sandra) introduced me to this place, and I can safely say that it is by far THE best chippy I have ever had in my 68 years of living. everything is fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. you could not find better chips anywhere. keep up the good work guys, whatever you're staff are getting paid it deserves to be doubled!! outstanding service, nothing was ever an issue and they had extremely good knowledge of their produce and where it is sourced from. I will be returning when I am next in the area. many thanks Richard
