Leland Lodge & Conference Center

My husband and I were camping in the area for our anniversary and were looking for a dog friendly restaurant. The Leland Lodge was suggested to us so we gave it a try. The bartender/waitress Roni, took great care of us. She was friendly, attentive and kind. Our food and drinks were wonderful! Finding outdoor dog friendly places always seems to be a challenge in Michigan but this place was great. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

Wonderful anniversary stay. Very cute and clean accommodations, little touches made the difference. The lodge has bikes they will lend you for free, umbrellas to use, cookies in your room. Downtown Leland is just a few blocks away. Felt very quaint. Bed was very nice. 90% of the lodge was part of a big wedding while we were there so things got pretty rowdy/loud but we spent most of our days out adventuring and the party was quiet by 10:30pm so we didn’t mind. Would definitely stay here again. Nearby activities: Two minutes from Fishtown. Great central location for all the great parks. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Hospitality at its finest. From the moment we stepped in the door, to the moment we left, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The lodge has many cozy areas to sit and relax, read or play a game. You’re welcomed with homemade chocolate chip cookies in your room and each morning treated to homemade blueberry muffins and coffee, along with a refrigerator stocked with free drinks and yogurt. Guests can use the bikes for free and it’s easy to bike to town or the beach. Brian communicated every step of the way from the time of booking through our stay.
