Marienburg Castle - Pattensen

Marienburg Castle is an impressive, beautiful setting. We were there for the winter fairy tale. The courtyard was colorfully lit, inside in it were set up cheesy Christmas jewelry. Mostly a tree was decorated to a particular theme. It was very sweet but the 15€ per person entry was not worth it. The waffles that have eaten like were very dry, although they were fresh, you should work on the recipe again The cake selection looked great, but did not eat. Will come back to warmer temperatures without a great event

I'd like to have more points against. I was at the castle with my wife and our six-year-old daughter. Arrival was about half 4 on a gray day the few lighting at this time was very pleasant in this weather. Now we came to the entrance and had to pay 40€ admission there. In my opinion, something much at that time. Then it went through the Imposante Schloss Tor to the Schlosshof there everything was really great Christmas, my daughter got big eyes and even a fairy tale figure came and greeted her totally sweet and friendly,a very beautiful beginning. We looked around and wondered and found many small and big details. We made a tour in the castle that was very Christmas decoration, great for our daughter who even held a little chat with a princess. Then it went back to the Hof Castle where my daughter could drive carousel for free. The hunger also came, here the prices were a bit higher but still ok, so there is only one recommendation for the muzzle that was very delicious. Meanwhile, much more lights have been created and music is always in the background. Feeling every half an hour there was an attraction offered. It was really a nice afternoon and afterward when you see and consider today's circumstances the price is still to be earned, it is only once a year before Christmas I wish a lot of fun.

Goods at Advent time there. Many areas were very beautifully decorated Christmas.The rooms are very well preserved and look authentic. A worthwhile visit.
