Instead of drenching the cake in milk (like most tres leches), they provide the milk on the side, which you can pour over the cake or dip into — either way you have control over the amount of milk in your cake. The frosting was not too sweet and the chiffon was light and fluffy. I had white hot chocolate for bev, which was rich and silky. It had almond shards on top. The place is almost always busy, so don’t be surprised if you get the bill in advance or right when they serve your food. They provide a bell at the table which you can ring to call the attention of the staff.
Cafe Mary Grace’s Perfect Plate is a complete meal indeed. It has salad, pasta and bread. It is also served with the cake of the day which you may ask to be served later. You also have an option to add a half order of soup together with the meal.
One of the popular restaurants to go to. Famous for their cheese roll and grilled ensaymada paired with their signature got chocolate. They offer a variety of cakes and flavoured iced tea. They have set menu and all day breakfast. Other branches offer pizza in their menu. The ambiance in all their branches follow the same theme and lay-out. Excellent service by the crew. Food quality and taste didn’t disappoint.
How can you afford to not love this restaurant? You can't. This place never fails you wherever branch whatever time. Surely, there's some hitches but the overall homey experience makes your stay (and bill) worth it. The food suits well the Pinoy taste even for salad and soup dishes that are not usual for local market. They usually get busy so better come before or after the rush hour to enjoy your stay.
Mary Grace’s summer squash soup is really my personal fave in this go-to resto. Salad is always fresh and tasty. Plus, the ambiance in this branch is really charming and inviting.
