Lovebirds Cafe Bakery - Pasadena

It was a strange experience. My food took longer to arrive than it should have for just eggs—about 15 minutes. The staff didn't seem very attentive or helpful. Unfortunately, the food was quite bland; it felt like the chef had an aversion to salt. I tried the coffee, which was passable, and the pastries were just average. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and not worth the price. I’m sure there are better breakfast spots out there.

This place has a strange atmosphere. It’s been around for over a decade, yet it feels like it just opened. The drink and condiment station resembles your uncle's backyard BBQ setup. The service is decent; they fulfill your order, but that’s about it. I tried the sriracha breakfast burrito, and to be honest, it tasted like something a 14-year-old could whip up at home. The salsa reminded me of store-bought Pace salsa. Everything is just *okay*, but with so many delicious and unique cafes and restaurants in Pasadena and the LA area, it really isn’t worth the visit. (Also, when I arrived, the pastry case was nearly empty).

Food is nothing special. The salsa that came with the breakfast burrito tasted like bottled Pace salsa. The music choice here is just weird. The decor and vibe of the place feels confused and gives airport cafe vibes. Will not be returning. Much better food elsewhere.

Lazy fron staff, it's been the case for years. Food is great but expect to wait 30 minutes for a sandwich. They let food stay and get cold while they're on their cellphones.

Conveniently located right across from the Pasadena Hotel, this restaurant is perfect for anyone staying there! The food and drinks are absolutely delicious!
