Contribuiți la feedbackToo expensive for what is offered. Good quality meat, but very average preparation and presentation. Parma area lacks a proper steakhouse and this one for sure does not qualify either.
Visited mid-week in January. No problems getting a table however it was still relatively busy. Service fantastic and talked the group through some of the dishes which was appreciated. It helped being with a local who knew the restaurant and the menu well. Ravioli style dish for starter cooked to perfection. The thin sliced beef was full of flavour and melt in the mouth. A custard style dish followed with some biscuits but the highlight for me was the freshly made ice cream. So soft and smooth. It is the best I have ever had. Good selection of wine for which we had a very drinkable Valpolicella Ripasso which complimented the beef perfectly. Overall a most enjoyable meal in old cottage style surroundings which were very cosy.
The interior is very nice and cozy. We had the Fiorentina, roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables. First of all the waiter did not explain the size of each meat piece, although we asked, so we over ordered (approx 2,8 kilos of meat for 4 people is too much). The roasted potatoes were undercooked. There is a nice wine list. Overall, nothing special and not worth going back. Still searching for a proper grill restaurant around Parma, but certainly this is not the one.
