This little gem is a very simple and small restaurant where you will get oysters, produced in Arcachon (French west coast) by the very own restaurant owners. This is a real authentic place. ????
Walking in Montparnasse, after bringing a flower to the tomb of gainsbourg ect ect, it is mandatory to have lunch in this place. We discovered it almost by chance, we were drawn to the intimate atmosphere of the cabanon. Ladies, we have taken a menu based on 12 oysters and typical ham, bayonet ham, all accompanied by breton salt bread and butter and two glasses of white burgundy. Two coffees to finish. We paid a total of 30 euros, more than honest.We were extremely satisfied and we will return to our next Parisian stay.
Near the train station mounts a hut of the Arcachon basin with producer oysters that apply traditional methods. delicious result! plus the place is extremely nice. The night we were there, the producer was present and we were able to talk to him for a long time. exciting. really a place to remember for those who love oysters and places a little shifted.
After visiting the must-see Musee Bourdelle down the street, stop for some extra-fresh, extra-fine oysters! The owner's son has his own oyster farm, and delivers nightly - delicious. Slightly batty but utterly charming servers, who speak great English.
