Le Melisse - Paris 15e Arrondissement

Finally a really good restaurant near (across the street) from the weekend Brancion book market at the parc Georges Brassens. Very nice buffet brunch spread the choice of freshly prepared eggs the way you like them. Friendly service and a great variety in the buffet.

Aware of the majority of reviews from French contributors are rather negative but decided to take a chance. Overall had a very nice lunch with 3 interesting courses from set menu. Excellent service from Gaelle the waitress who seemed to do everything from taking orders,serving taking payments all on her own. Worth a visit for lunch.

We find nothing negative to say about Le Melisse we felt very welcome and enjoyed the tasty food (incl. the appetiser and schnaps on the house .

This was a recommendation from our hotel and they served good authentic french food. The staff couldn't speak English but we were enjoying that. Reasonable prices and good wine. The restaurant itself didn't blow me away but was good enough for a lunch stop
