Mastroianni - Paris

We used to go there often before management changed hands, it was a great place to eat with the authentic Italian experience. It is now one of the worst places to eat out. The plates and cutlery were dirty and there were small flies hovering above our table. There was dance music blaring and a waitress who barely speaks any French let alone English. A place to avoid if you enjoying dining out! I suppose a takeaway would have been better as the food isn't too bad. It's a shame as the charm of the restaurant left with its former owners.

The owner EXPELLED me and my brother of the restaurant. He did not say anything gentle. Just get out, hurry . Is was full? It is not my problem. I was paying. This is not the way the owner should treat his clients. WHAT A SHAME!!!!!

We ate here a couple of times during our visit to Paris in April. We had pizza the first time and I had a spaghetti the second time. It was a quiet atmosphere and we enjoyed both meals. The wine was good too. Quite a few people were picking up takeout. Give it a try.

We went there following positive comments on Groupon. It was delicious. And above all, we really felt that it was the taste of Italian cuisine (no world cuisine or VF often present in Italian restaurants in France) Let's go! I'll come back several times to test other dishes.
