Le cochon gaulois - Paris

What an amazing place. Found by accident near to where we were staying for the weekend. Fantastic food and service by the very knowledgeable and passionate head of house who made the whole experience complete. Definitely a great place for a special occasion or if you want to experience something different. Quality all round was superb and can highly recommend.

We found this restaurant by coincidence, but we did not regret it as we had a great experience. Very unique atmosphere and very good quality food. They had all the time to help with the menu and very nice to give super service. We loved it. Thanks

The food tastes really great, the chef in wonderful and the owner takes time to explain you everything you want to know about his products and recipes. A very good and unique restaurant, serving wonderful pork meat!

My wife and I ate here in April, 2017. The trilogy of pork dish was an absolute delight. It comprised of black pudding ( the best I've ever tasted ), pork cheeks in a succulent sauce and porchetta. It came with cream of mash potatoes and glazed vegetables. The starters and desserts were also of high quality. The restaurant itself has an excellent ambience, efficiently managed by Lydi - a delightful and welcoming host. We shall certainly visit here again on our next trip to Paris...

If you like pork then this is the perfect restaurant. Pork is their specialty although they do offer fish and chicken on the menu. We chose different pork dishes and both were absolutely delicious; cooked to perfection. Prices are mid range which I thought fully justified. Wine by the glass or the bottle, no house wine but a good wine list. Servers speak English if required. I had a starter which my wife liked the look of so much she helped me eat it. Consequently she could not manage all her main course. This is a restaurant we will return to.
