Rangoon Ruby Burmese Cuisine

Really enjoyed the food and flavors! The garlic eggplant and layer bread appetizer were especially amazing. We came with a group of 3 and got seated immediately inside. A bit of a wait between ordering and getting food, but nothing unreasonable. I loved thedinner overall.

Forgot to take photos of the food. Loved this place! The service was incredible, and were very patient with 12 of us. The samosa soup and tea salad was quite different. I loved the tofu mango and fiery vegetables for the entree. Overall a very nice vibe anda great evening!

It was really nice and friendly service. That's enough to bring me second time. I enjoyed Burmese pad Thai. I should have not put chicken in it though : good choice overall! For my still evolving Indian pallete, samosa was really good. I also likedcoconut rice.

Beautiful food! Tea Leaf Salad here, is so fresh and flavorful you will definitely come back here, just for this special treat. Their Palata, similar to Thai Paratha, is so soft, luscious and flaky! We also tried Rangoon Noodles with Yellow Tofu inRed Curry, and really enjoyed the freshness of noodles with flavors from the curry. Good staff, quick food and the charm of PaloAlto downtown, further add to the overall experience!

I don't usually write poor reviews. I asked to be seated outside, and plenty of seats were available. The waitress wouldn't let me sit where I wanted to sit. The idea of ordering on the phone ruins the whole restaurant experience. I wanted to talk aboutwhat I was ordering and find out if there was a specialty dish. Overall my experience was average, and the food was justmediocre.
