If i order pasta then i would like there to be a good portion of pasta not just tomatoes, onions, meat, etc. Hubby and i were both still hungry when we left. Drinks were decent.
Liked this restaurant. Good service. Limited but good comfort food vegetarian options. Cauliflower taco was good. Cheesy bread was slightly life changing. Would also recommend the Baked Ousters and to sit inside the court yard, which is special. Grits was ok. They don't accept reservations, so there may be a wait
The food and the vibe of the restaurant are both 5 stars. They have few good vegetarian/vegan options. We tried their crispy brussel sprouts, cauliflower taco and firecracker cajun pasta. Everything tasted splendid. I had asked extra sauce for pasta and they gave a generous portion of extra sauce which I really appreciated. The only thing that might not be excellent is the service. You will have to really wait a long time to even contact a waiter. Other than that, definitely worth multiple visits especially during the night.
A great place with a nice atmosphere. We visited Palo Alto city center around noon on a weekend day in search for bottomless Mimosas and high-energy food. Nola turned out to be just the right place. Tables and bar indoor, and sunny tables on the front of the restaurant. Orders were placed using a qr-code on the cell. Service was fast. Food and drinks were perfect. Will come back!
We went to Nola for a late lunch on Sunday. It was still very busy. We really liked all the dishes we ordered especially shrimp gumbo, beignets and spicy jambalaya. Beignets are a must have here. Oysters on the shell and mamas Mac and cheese was good too. Smokin hot level for jambalaya is really hot.
