Pizza My Heart - Palo Alto

First thing look up at the ceiling lights flies huge flies in there. The pizza was okay but it was truly hard to enjoy with the flies not one but handfuls. The restaurant was dirty bathrooms the same. Restaurant needs some TLC. And take care of the flies in the ceiling lights please.

Wow this is a great place!! If you are not too hungry, you can eat a slice of pizza with a glass of water for $6!! It’s amazing price for downtown Palo Alto

Listen, I had a pizza experience here that ticked me off. I 'm talking about Pizza My Heart, and let me tell you, it left my taste buds in disbelief. The recipe? Off. Completely off. Whether it 's the ingredients they 're tossing around or how they 're baking the darn thing, it didn 't deliver the symphony of flavors I was expecting. It even had whole garlic slices on it, which still turned out underwhelming. It 's just a decent pie, nothing to write home about. And The Big Sur with its whole garlic gimmick? Didn 't save the day. Didn 't even come close. If you 're thinking of trying this place, I 'd say skip it. Sure, it 's got this surfy, laid-back pizza shop vibe going on, but don 't let the looks fool you—the bathroom 's a mess, and the staff couldn 't be less pleasant if they tried. And who in their right mind pairs figs and bacon on a pizza? Not in my book. No way. The crust? Too thin, snaps like a cracker. And don 't get me started on the salads—prepackaged and about as flavorful as cardboard. Service? What service? The staff act like they couldn 't care less, and the whole surfer decor? Tacky as all get out. Also I ordered the 24 piece chicken wings and they never came and they refused to refund me my $40 for the wings I never got.

And when I saw the Pizza My Heart I thought of two things right off the bat....1 ..never heard of the place, but I'll give it a shot, and two....who ever thought of that name should be punched, not hard, but hard enough to make um think about it. I had just picked up my Flinkinfelter Goosestepper Synchronizer from my pal Wilhelm Auttabaum because he was using it to correct the way the college kids were marching in their protests. When I handed him the pizza he took one deep smell of it and said with delight...it's from Pizza My Heart! I can tell by it's wonderful aromas. Well, Willy tells me he got the college kids marching in perfect synchronization, and he goes on about how great the Goosestepper worked being 86 years old, he says all they need now are matching brown shirts and maybe a logo to hide behind. Man-O-Man that pizza sure was great! Pizza My Heart...5 Stars
