Dinah's Poolside Restaurant - Palo Alto

The Steak Frites is to die for. So tender and yummy! The staff is always friendly. I also like their Salmon entree with their heirloom carrots. I love their new menu, a lot more gluten-free options. I go to Dinah's Poolside to listen to their live music out by the pool. My favorites are Mary Ellen and Thom Duell, Acoustic Madness and Blue House.

I was just there in July, i was raised in Palo Alto and went to grade school, middle school and high school there and most of my friends still live in the area and go to dinahs all the time. The place is zen like with a japanese feel with a pond full if coy fish. There is a gazebo to relax while walking to the poolside area. The rooms are nice great amenities, the bed is comfortable, and surprisingly the rooms are not overly priced. Somw rooms have wood floors. i had a restful sleep. The premises reminds me of a high class condo which is quaint and not a too overly large hotel. I was told the previous owner traveled around the world and brought back artifacts that you will see in the lobby. What i liked about staying there is that the food was great and you can eat poolside and swim. I never left the hotel. It was like having a poolsude party at your home eating on the patio and very comfortable friendly atmosphere. The food was great, the people that work there were nice and friendly. I would go back again.

Love it. Always. Great food, service, atmosphere,. And they brought a bowl of ice water for my little dog.

Such a wonderful place to have breakfast in the morning! The staff treated us like royalty~ seriously!

We love Dinah's. We love the staff, the food, the environment. It is a hidden gem. I take friends that have never been all the time and they have all loved it as well. I hope it continues to thrive for many years!
