El Vaquero West (lake Monticello)

I have dined hear many times and always enjoyed my favorite meal. I have ordered the same meal twice now on door dash. Both times the meal has been subpar. While eating in the meat is always fresh and moist from the oven having it delivered the meat is dry and hard. So hard my Cutco steak knives struggle to cut it.

Everything was delicious! Just did not receive our 54. Cheese Dip which we LOVE! This is the second time that has happened... Husband called El Vaquero and told them about it and they said they would make it up to us the next time we order!

Their food is always delicious and the portions are really big.

Went at the estimated arrival time and they stated order would be right out. Waited over 20 minutes and asked for an update on when it would be ready. They acknowledged they didnt even put the order in so had to wait another 20 minutes for them to make it. Food came out okay.

Food was okay- it was my first experience with Mexican food, but so I have no way to compare. However, if you want to achieve originality, the waitress did not speak English
