Now Zen - Charlottesville

This place has more veggie rolls than I’ve ever seen at a sushi restaurant before. Love that they have vegan spicy mayo as well!! The Green Giant ordered vegan (clearly labeled) is DELICIOUS- creamy, crunchy and filling!! Highly recommend. Plus, the ambiance of the restaurant is cute

We were just looking for a place to eat at after hiking white oak canyon so we decided to try this place out. I ordered green tea and yuzu sake. Both were great. Our server recommended the green giant vegan style so I went with his recommendation and it blew my expectations. We also had spicy edamame and vegan miso soup. My boyfriend and his son shared a couple of rolls and pork dumplings. 10/10 highly recommend. They are generous about portions. Updated from previous review on 2022-06-20

Had lovely vegan veggie “sushi” roll with vegan spicy mayo. Great veggie dumplings too! Forgot leftovers but they held them For me!!

Now and Zen has plenty of delicious vegan sushi rolls that don’t feel like an afterthought. The green giant without cream cheese with vegan mayo is delicious, as is the vegetable dumplings. Overall delicious food.

Everything was fantastic, this is one of our favorite spots in Charlottesville, Virginia. The food is incredible and so is the service. Just be sure to arrive at 5 o'clock, otherwise you may have to wait in line for a table.
