Mariano's Fresh Market - Palatine

This has been one of my go to grocery stores for quite some time now although it’s not quite the same since it changed ownership. I still like this place very much but the meat is not the same. The burgers used to be so delicious here. Anyway, I still shop here fairly often. They have a decent selection and most of the staff is friendly

We visit this Mariano's at least once a week, and while there are occasionally some issues during peak hours (let's be honest, which store doesn't have that when thousands of customers are around?), I've never experienced the same problem more than once. I really enjoy the prepared food section and I've never waited more than a few minutes for fresh food to be replenished, even during dinner rush. The salad bar is my absolute favorite—far better than any other market, and I've never found brown lettuce here like I have at Jewel. The cashiers have always been friendly and attentive, even when I've witnessed another customer being quite rude to them. I genuinely love this store and highly recommend their bakery items. Every time I visit in the morning, the aroma of fresh donuts fills the air. No store is perfect, but this Mariano's comes pretty close to providing an excellent grocery shopping experience.

The gentleman Juan Carlos at the sushi counter was incredible and truly made my day. I will definitely return to him. He crafted a fantastic, unique creation just for me.

I absolutely love their food and coffee! The staff is incredibly helpful and always friendly. They do a fantastic job of assisting me in finding the products and services I need.
